These terms govern distance purchases on roccafortebio.it by consumers, that is, by those who buy for purposes outside their trade or profession. The contract is in Italian. You can save and print these terms from this page.

The products
Each product page shows the main characteristics of the product and its price. The photos show the product; colours may look slightly different from one screen to another.
For food products, the product page shows before purchase the mandatory label information: name of the food, ingredients with allergens highlighted, quantity, storage conditions and producer (Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011). The best-before date and the batch number are on the package you receive.
How to order and when the contract is concluded
- Choose the products and send us your order using the contact details on the website.
- We send you a written summary with the products, the total price, the delivery costs, the delivery times and the payment method, together with a link to these terms.
- Before confirming, you can correct anything that is wrong.
- The contract is concluded when you confirm the summary in writing. The summary and your confirmation are your copy of the contract: keep them.
If a price is wrong because of an obvious error, we tell you before delivery: you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it, in which case we immediately refund what you have paid.
Prices
Prices are in euros and include VAT.
Delivery costs are charged separately: you see them before paying, together with the total.
Each order is charged at the price shown at the time you send it.
When we announce a discount, the reference price is the lowest price we applied in the previous 30 days (Article 17-bis of the Italian Consumer Code).
Any cost in addition to the price, for example gift wrapping, is charged only if you choose it.
Payment
We do not charge any additional fees for the payment method.
Delivery
We ship to Italy and to the other countries of the European Union. Costs and delivery times are on the Shipping and returns page, and you also see them before paying. In any case, we deliver within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract, unless a different time is stated (Article 61 of the Italian Consumer Code).
The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to you when you, or a person indicated by you other than the carrier, receive the parcel (Article 63).
If the parcel arrives damaged, write to info@roccafortebio.it with a photo of the parcel and of the product.
Right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day on which you receive the products, without giving any reason (Article 52 of the Italian Consumer Code). Legal guarantee of conformity
All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity under the Italian Consumer Code (Articles 128 to 135-septies). It always applies, including to products excluded from the right of withdrawal.
- We are liable for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery.
- A lack of conformity that becomes apparent within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise.
- Legal action to enforce the guarantee for a lack of conformity is time-barred 26 months after delivery.
- You can ask for the product to be repaired or replaced. If this is not possible, or is not done within a reasonable time, you can ask for a proportionate price reduction or, if the lack of conformity is not minor, for the contract to be terminated.
To report a lack of conformity, write to info@roccafortebio.it with a photo and the order details.
Complaints and dispute resolution
To make a complaint, write to info@roccafortebio.it or call +39 329 706 6845, stating the order and the problem.
If a complaint is not resolved, we tell you in writing which alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body is competent and whether we intend to use it (Article 141-sexies of the Italian Consumer Code).
Governing law and jurisdiction
The contract is governed by Italian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court of the place where you reside or are domiciled, if this is in Italy (Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code).
If you live in another country of the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version published at the time you send it.
